A storm warning was announced for February 27 in most regions of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

"According to the Hydrometeorological Center, in the morning and afternoon of February 27 and February 28 in Ukraine, except the western regions, there will be snow, snowstorms, wind gusts 15-22 m/s, in the Azov Sea 25-27 m/s. On February 27 in southern regions, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava regions, heavy snowfalls, significant snowstorms, snowdrifts, "the report said.

Earlier, the State Emergency Council warned citizens about a strong cooling. So, from February 25 to 26, it is expected that the air temperature will drop to - 19 ° C at night, in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions - to - 22 ° C; in the southern part and in Transcarpathia - to - 13 °.

On February 26-27, the temperature at night will be -14-20 ° C. In Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Rivne, Zhitomyr, Kyiv, Cherkassy, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions up to 25 ° C; in the southern part the temperature will not change significantly.
