A storm warning has been announced in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"We announce a thunderstorm in Kyiv and Kyiv region in the next two hours and until the end of the day on May 19," said in a statement.
As reported, during the weekend in Ukraine there will be rains with thunderstorms, an insignificant temperature decrease is expected.
In particular, on May 19 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the south, heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected. The temperature during the day is up to +26 degrees.

On May 4, a record for the maximum temperature since 1911 reported in Kyiv - in the afternoon the thermometer rose to + 30.1 ° C. This is reported on the site of the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevsky.
Meteorologists noted that this temperature is 1.2 ° C above the previous high of 1911.
"In this regard, the average daily temperature exceeded by 0.3 ° C the historical value of 1934. It was + 22.8 ° C," the center added.
The beginning of May was anomalously hot and dry for the capital of Ulraine. This year, the night of May 2 in Kyiv also became the warmest for the last 137 years.
