Storage goes on fire near petroleum depot in Ternopil

No casualties were observed in the accident; the fire was successfully localized and extinguished

A fire occurred at the warehouse building next to the petroleum depot in Ternopil, western Ukraine. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that on Thursday.

"The report about the fire reached the rescue service in Ternopil at 12.15 a.m., October 10. The crews reached the scene operatively. It occurred that there were paint solvents in the house. At the moment of the rescuers' arrival, the area of the fire was some 300 square meters; the fire was spreading fast. Thanks to the professional teamwork of the Service's workers, the flames did not reach the potentially dangerous object", the message said.

30 crew members and four vehicles were involved in the works.

The fire was successfully localized and extinguished. No casualties were observed in the accident.
