112 Ukraine TV channel expresses regrets for groundless criticism of “Seraphima's Extraordinary Adventures" cartoon, broadcasted as part of the “Easter. We are People!” TV marathon.
Ukraine's TV-viewers are already familiar with “Seraphima's Extraordinary Adventures", and Easter broadcast on 112 Ukraine TV channel is far from being the first release of this cartoon in Ukraine. In particular, “Seraphima's Extraordinary Adventures” received the Grand Prix of the XIII International Festival of Orthodox Movies “Pokrov” back in October 2015 in Kyiv.
"Seraphima's Extraordinary Adventures" is the story of a girl from the orphanage, the daughter of a priest, repressed in 1937 and whose church was destroyed by the Bolsheviks. Despite the hardships and pressure from her teachers, she did not give up her faith in God.
According to the editorial board of the TV channel, “Seraphima's Extraordinary Adventures” is one of the few truly family cartoons of the religious topic, which is interesting to watch for both adults and children.T
112 Ukraine TV channel broadcasted the cartoon on a free basis as part of the festive telethon of its own production, the rights to display were conveyed to the Seraphim Sarovsky Charity Foundation.
