Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced the opening of public access for recreation at state-owned facilities, including a sports facility at the Expocenter of Ukraine, Koncha-Zaspa, Zalissya and the Byryuchy Peninsula. Tymoshenko announced this at the Ukraine 30. Economy without Oligarchs forum.
"One of the facilities at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, which we will complete this year, is a huge and unique sports cluster in Europe. It is being built within the framework of the President's program "Large Construction". This cluster will have an urban park, even plans long-term perspective and the pool,areas for walking, for jogging. And the main thing - all this will be ready till August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine," Tymoshenko said.
Zalissya, which is on the balance sheet of Presidential Property Management Department, is also already open to the public. At the same time, the process of transformation of the territory of Zalissya into a national nature park is underway, clusters with zones where it will be possible to build hotels are being created, project documentation is being developed.
Tymoshenko added that there are also plans to open the territory of Koncha-Zaspa.
As it was reported earlier, the issue about the sale of land plots and construction of houses in Koncha-Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya was raised at the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). It is about almost 400 hectares of defense lands and over 100 state buildings and villas.
