Moldova declares a state of health emergency due to the coronavirus situation. This was announced by Minister of Health of Moldova Ala Nemerenco, reports

The state of emergency will last from September 11 to October 31. The reason for this decision was the growing number of cases of Covid-19 infection in Moldova.

It is noted that new conditions will be created for the participation of people over 18 years of age in outdoor activities (performances, festivals, etc.) or indoors (theaters, concerts, etc.). They will be required to provide a vaccination certificate confirming the completion of immunization schedule at least 14 days after the second dose, or a negative Covid-19 test result.

According to NewsMaker, in Moldova, the “Red Zone” of epidemiological danger of coronavirus includes 24 districts. Over the past week, the number of patients with coronavirus increased by 26%. More than 80% of them are unvaccinated citizens. Last week the number of children with coronavirus increased by more than 30%.

As it was reported earlier, the Danish government removed the last coronavirus-related restrictions in the country. The Cabinet officially does not consider Covid-19 extremely dangerous anymore.
