The State Bureau of Investigations (DBR) of Ukraine has criminal cases where ex-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko is involved. Roman Truba, the DBR head said so on Thursday.

"Opening of a criminal case means a registration of an appeal in the United Register of Pretrial Investigations. The opening itself does not mean that a person is involved in committing a crime. At this stage, DBR investigators do not affect the procedure, their actions are purely technical. The next stage is conducting an investigation, collecting enough evidence and finding out the objective circumstances", the DBR Director said.
