State Bureau of Investigation returns military equipment previously seized from Armed Forces

Yesterday, July 2, 2020, at 22:50, previously withdrawn military devices (klystrons) were returned to military units. The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) reports that.

On the fact of the removal of military equipment from the military units of the Armed Forces, an official investigation was launched at the Bureau. The officials involved in the seizure of equipment were removed from their posts.

Also, according to the materials of the Internal Control Department, the Main Investigative Department of the SBI opened criminal proceedings on the fact of abuse of power or official authority by employees of the State Security Service and the Security Service of Ukraine during the seizure of military property (Part 3 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Suspects face up to 10 years in prison.

As we reported before, the Command of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) initiated the internal investigation to establish the legality of the actions of the investigators who confiscated seven SHF-radiation devices from three missile brigades.
