The State Bureau of Investigation has informed former MP of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation Tetiana Chornovol was notified of suspicion of preclusion of the journalist's legitimate professional activities. This was reported by the Bureau’s press service.
"Investigators of the territorial administration of the State Bureau of Investigation, located in the city of Kyiv, have informed the MP of Ukraine of the eighth Parliament of suspicion of preclusion of the journalist's legal professional activities," the message reads.
As a result, it was found that, on October 18, 2019, a former MP prevented the journalist from doing his legal professional activities during the coverage of events that took place in the courtroom. The suspect seized the phone from a media employee and stopped video recording.
As we reported earlier, Tetyana Chornovol, the former Ukrainian MP, filed an appeal, which reported that Andriy Bohdan, the ex-head of President's Office of Ukraine, committed an act of state treason.
According to her, Bohdan embezzled 112 million dollars from the state budget.
