The head of the State Border Service, Serhiy Deineko, said that the President of Ukraine does not affect the decision of the border service to allow people to enter the country. Deineko wrote it on his Facebook page.
"He (Dr. Alban, - ed.) crossed the state border in accordance with the current legislation," he wrote.
According to Deineko, the issue of border control is exclusively the responsibility of the State Border Guard Service and no one influences the decision on the admission or admission of persons, "including the president of Ukraine."
He added that foreigners could be refused in crossing the border by order from law enforcement agencies, but if it is absent and the necessary documents are available, they can be let into Ukraine.
