All seaports of Ukraine have applied special anti-epidemiological measures in order to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus from China. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Port Administration (USPA).
"Since last week, in order to prevent the introduction of sickness cases, caused by the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus across the state border at the seaports, and its spread in Ukraine, representative offices of USPA together with other state bodies have organized a complex of epidemiological surveillance and prophylactic measures," the message reads.
In particular, it is noted that the ports have established cooperation with the Ministry of Health laboratories and other control services in order to effectively check persons arriving from abroad and to identify specific preventive measures implemented by the affiliates of SE Ukrainian Sea Port Administration.
As we reported earlier, there are enough infectiologists in Ukraine who know how to act in case of the infection and the spread of nCov, the infamous Chinese coronavirus. Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said so on the air of Ukraina TV channel on Sunday night as quoted by Ukrinform.
"Even in case of the emergency of such disease, we understand how to act. We have got enough infectiologists - at least two well-equipped brigades in every region who know what to do. So I do not see any reasons to be worried," he said.
