Special Investigations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office is considering giving the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bohdan a notice of suspicion. This is reported by a source in the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrainian News informs.
"On Monday (October 21st), the Special Investigations Department discussed the existence of legal reasons for giving Bohdan a notice of suspicion," he said.
Bohdan is suspected of breaking the law while working in the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Mykola Azarov.
Thus, according to the investigation, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine contributed to the court's decision on illegal recovery of 1,2 billion dollars of state guarantees for "United Energy Systems of Ukraine" corporation in favor of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
This was done in order to bring Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party, to justice.
Bohdan was preparing the legal materials of the Cabinet of Ministers on this process and allowed the illegal collection of state bills without reporting it to the prosecutor's office.
