Special Forces used water cannons and tear gas to disperse protesters in Tbilisi

November 18, police special forces dispersed opposition pickets near the Georgian parliament. News Georgia reports.

 The dispersal of the opposition rally began at 5 p.m.  Using shields, police ousted protesters, including opposition leaders.

 "Before the operations, a special sound warning was included. However, the protesters said they were not going to disperse. They stood face to face with the police with their hands up. Some lay on the asphalt. So the protesters emphasized that their protest was peaceful." – noticed in the message.

 After that, the police used water cannons and tear gas against the protesters.  Law enforcement officers on their hands carried out the most active civil activists from the rally.

 As of 5:20 PM, the police managed to drive the picketers away from all the entrances to the parliament.  The media write that as a result of the dispersal, several people were injured and they receive medical assistance.

As we reported, armed protesters in Iraq stormed the building of Al-Arabia news channel, owned by Saudi Arabia.
