Snowstorms, snowfalls and black ice expected in Ukraine on Friday

A cyclone's effect will be clearly felt in Ukraine on January 4. It will cause snowstorms, snowfalls and some black ice. Mykola Kulbida, the head of Ukraine's State Meteorological Centre said that as quoted by 112.ua news agency. 

'On January 4, we expect a cyclonic whirlwind in the area of the Sea of Azov, which will affect the southeastern part of Ukraine. On January 5, it will leave Ukraine and move on to the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, these features will weaken and cease already in the daytime of January 5', Kulbida said.

The daily temperature of the air will make from -1 to -3 degrees by Celsius. 

The heaviest precipitation is expected in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, with the snow cover reaching 15 to 20 cm in height. The wind gusts will make the speed of 15-20 meters per second, 25 meters per second on the coast of Azov Sea.
