SkyUP Air Company has started the sales of the tickets for its first international flights. The representatives of the company, which poses itself as a low-cost entity, claimed that the flights will take place under the budget concept as Avianews.com reported.
At the moment the company offers the flights to Tbilisi, Sofia, Poprad, and Barcelona with the departure from Kyiv. The first flights will take place in December 2018.
The minimal prices vary from $35 for a ticket to Poprad up to $53 t Tbilisi, Sofia, and Barcelona.
The company also offers three possible tariffs: Basic – without the possibility to exchange and return a ticket, including the transfer of 7 kg of the hand baggage; Standard – with the possibility to exchange a ticket with a fine, including the transfer of one suitcase up to 23 kg and 7 kg of the hand baggage; Flex – the same options as Standard but with a possibility to return ticket after a payment of the fine.
Ukrainian SkyUP Air Company was launched in May 2018 as Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan reported. Its fleet composed of three Boeing planes 737-800 NG 2001, 2002 и 2011 with 189 seats.
The company intends to increase the fleet up to 6 planes in 2019, up to 8 in 2020, up to 10 in 2021 and up to 12 in 2022.
