Republic of Korea will pass Ukraine humanitarian assistance to help combat the Chinese coronavirus. The airplane will take off in the night time on March 26. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said so during his address on TV.

According to the head of the state, 100,000 tests wil arrive in Ukraine. Apart from that, 200,000 special medical masks, protective suits, 100,000 tests, lung ventilators and masks for sale will be delivered from China.

"After the return [from China to Ukraine] and some rest for our crew, the aircraft will go to China for the next batch. Further delivery will be performed in that particular mode", Zelensky said.

He added that protection suits of multiple use have been produced in Ukraine since recently. The first batch will be ready in three days.

47 people are now confirmed Covid-19 patients in the Ukrainian capital. Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that on March 26. Seven cases of infection were reported on Thursday alone. Four women, two men and a 10-year-old boy got sick.

Two patients were brought to a hospital; the rest are staying home, in the self-isolation.

On early March 26, the Healthcare Ministry officially confirmed 156 cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. The lockdown across the country was extended until April 24. The emergency situation was announced all over the country.
