Singapore has recorded smallest number of new cases of Covid-19 over past two weeks

In Singapore, 447 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus have been recorded in the last day. This is the smallest amount in the last two weeks, as Reuters reports.

The local Ministry of Health also said that the total number of people infected in the city-state is 17,548, while 16 patients died.

The country will return to normal life within a few weeks, and by June 1, it will finally abolish all quarantine restrictions.

From May 12, Singapore will allow the work of home business, laundry services and hairdressers. Workrooms will gradually open. Some students will be allowed to return to school in small groups from May 19.

As we reported before, China has rejected numerous requests from the World Health Organization to allow it to participate in the investigation of the origin of COVID-19.
