Silpo grocery stores in Kyiv are evacuated in connection with the message received from an anonymous person about mining, reports the press office of Kyiv Police.

It is reported that the information about the explosive in the grocery shops was sent to the Security Service of Ukraine. Since the anonymous didn’t specify where the explosive is planted, police officers to check every store of the chain.

It is also noted that several groups of law enforcement officers were created for the most rapid check of the supermarkets.

Besides, another evacuation took place in Silver Breeze shopping mall in Kyiv.

Reportedly, an explosion on the sixth armory occurred in Ichnia, Chernihiv region, on October 9. 

The air-space within 30 km was shut down, traffic and railway movement were stopped due to the emergency situation.

Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reports that as of 7 am, October 9, the intensity of the explosions was 2-3 explosions per second. 

Earlier, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Region opened a criminal proceeding on the case of explosions on the ammunition depot in Ichnia.  

Later the State Emergency Service reported that over 12,000 people were evacuated from Ichnia and the adjacent localities within the radius of 16 kilometers.
