The shopping mall caught fire in the Russian city of Kemerovo. In one of the cinema halls in the mall the bodies of four children were found, RIA Novosti reports with reference to sources in emergency services of the city.
According to the report, children were poisoned with products of burning. Seven more children are listed as suffered from the fire.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, the fire area reached 500 square meters.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the focus of the fire is on the top floor. There are several cinemas and children's playgrounds with attractions there.
More than 210 people and 48 units of equipment extinguished fire. A laboratory is being sent to the scene to measure the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in the air.
20 people were rescued. A total of one hundred were evacuated.
