‘It was reported on the shots at Obukhivska Street to the special line of the police.
At the moment it became known that the conflict rose between men and a few shots went off during it. In the result of it two people suffered: one of them was hospitalized.
‘The partakers of the conflict will be detained until the establishment of the circumstance and reasons of the incident. All necessary investigative actions are held at the scene’, the police noted.
Due to the incident, the criminal proceeding qualified as the hooliganism was opened.
112 Ukraine correspondent noted that 10 people were detained.
‘About 10 people detained. According to police, they were transferred to the district department at Chornobylska Street and the investigative actions take place at the site. The investigators and the patrol police stay at the site’, the journalist reported.
Mykola Kokhanivsky, the chairman of Volunteer Movement OUN reported on Facebook that the conflict took place due to the attempt of the hostile takeover of the building.
‘At the moment the raiders storm the dormitory at Obukhivska Street. Oleksandr Rychkov from OUN was badly beaten. The shooting took place’, he wrote.
As it was reported earlier law enforcement officers detained the commander of the OUN volunteer battalion Mykola Kohanivsky on October 21, as he started shooting in Kyiv.
"I was going to a dormitory, and a certain Ruslan Kachmala got to me, started threatening and insulting me, a fight started. I had a non-lethal weapon with me. He started punching me and used gas, so I had to use the weapon. I wasn’t too badly hurt. It’s an old conflict. They are forcing the tenants of the dormitory to move. He does that blatantly, and we are defending them,” he said.
Commander of the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists) battalion Mykola Kohanivsky said that the shooting he started occurred because in the area he was at, a certain group of people forces the tenants to leave their dwelling, as he told 112.
