Information about the incident came to law enforcement officers at about two in the morning, January 26. As it turned out, a conflict arose on the basis of mutual insults between two visitors to the entertainment venue and unknown people.
"As a result, the stranger took out his weapon, fired several shots and disappeared in an unknown direction. The injured - 26-year-old resident of Vinnytsia region and a foreigner were hospitalized with injuries," reads the statement.
At the scene, six spent cartridges were seized and sent for examination. On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to seven years. A set of search measures is being conducted to identify and detain suspects.
