Eleven people have been killed and a number of others injured as a result of a shooting at the synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, where the morning prayer was held. This is reported by KDKA.
The synagogue was attacked by a man at around 9:45 am on Saturday, October 27th. According to police, during the attack he shouted "All Jews must die."
After arriving of the police and the SWAT team, the attacker blocked the building from the inside and entered into a shootout with law enforcement officers. The head of the city police, Jason Lando, said that three policemen were injured.
At the moment, the attacker is detained. He was also wounded during the assault, but the severity of his condition is not specified.
Sources of the publication report that the name of the attacker is Robert Bowers, but the police do not yet confirm this information.

"We must be sure that there are no more threats inside," the police said.
US President Donald Trump on his Twitter page reported that the federal government will provide the city authorities with all the necessary assistance to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
