The brother of suspect’s wife was asked to carry out the explosive device

A mine was carried out before the search of the apartment of Andriy Antonenko, who is considered the suspect in the murder of Pavlo Sheremet, on Friday, December 13. Suspect Antonenko asked the brother of his wife to do it. It was reported by the communication department of the National Police of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the ammunition was taken out of the premises two hours before the search. It was removed from the office, which was located in the building where Antonenko lived with his wife and brother.

"Using his right to call a lawyer, Andriy Antonenko sent a message to an unknown person at 15:10 asking him to pick up a package in the closet, at 15:12 he wrote a post about his detention on the social network, and at 15:14 Antonenko called a relative to make sure he took the thing from the apartment,” the message states.

As we reported earlier, National police detained the persons of interests in case of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet. They also notified on suspicion.

Totally, there are five main suspects in the murder of the journalist.

Kyiv Pechersk District Court chose a preventive measure for Yulia Kuzmenko in the form of the detention for two months.

Pechersk district court of Kyiv chose the restrictive measure in the form of the 24-hour house arrest for military nurse Yana Duhar.

Andryi Antonenko was also arrested for two months.
