January 8, the Kyiv Court of Appeal decided to uphold a round-the-clock house arrest for Yana Dugar, the suspect in the murder of Pavlo Sheremet, as Ukrainian News reported.

The court made this decision, despite Dugar's defense team requirement to cancel the house arrest and not to select a preventive measure.

Lawyer Vitaliy Kolomiets argued the court's demand with the fact that on July 20, 2016, Dugar was in military mobile hospital No. 66 in Pokrovsk on the day of the murder of Sheremet.

The lawyer was also outraged by the fact that the arrest of Dugar was determined in Novomoskovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region, because she has a rental housing in Kyiv.

As we reported before, the suspect in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet Yana Dugar refused to participate in the investigative experiment, which was carried out on the night of January 3.
