Antonenko defense intends to appeal

Pechersk district court of Kyiv extended the detention of musician and ATO veteran Andriy Antonenko until April 4, who was suspected of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet. The court made this decision, satisfying the request of the prosecutor Serhiy Zuzak, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Antonenko’s defense intends to appeal.

Recall, December 14, the Pechersk district court of Kyiv arrested the musician and soldier Andriy Antonenko. The preventive measure is valid until February 8, 2020.

As we reported before, Pechersk district court of Kyiv extended the arrest of Yana Duhar, the suspect in the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet. Her arrest is extended until April 4

The suspect was present during the session court along with her lawyers. The prosecutors insisted on the extension of the arrest as Duhar is married to a citizen of Iraq. The law enforcers are concerned that she will escape from the country to husband.

Also,  National police detained the persons of interests in case of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet. They are also notified of suspicion.

Kyiv Pechersk District Court chose a preventive measure for Yulia Kuzmenko in the form of the detention for two months.
