Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin confirmed that a number of European countries do not let in the people vaccinated against coronavirus with CoronaVac vaccine, Gordon reports.

"There are indeed problems with the CoronaVac vaccine, and we hope that this issue will be resolved in the near future at the level of the European regulator. CoronaVac is recognized in almost 60 countries. We hope that this political component will be deleted from the EU's position," Kuzin said.

As it was reported earlier, the Health Ministry recommends shortening the interval between two doses of the CoronaVac / Sinovac vaccine up to 14 days.

According to the researchers, neutralizing antibody titers decreased significantly six months after two doses of CoronaVac in the elderly patients. Therefore, the third (booster) dose of the Chinese CoronaVac vaccine is needed by people over 60 years of age.
