“Only seven citizens are infected. The members of crew return from Grand Princess, if I'm not mistaken, there are 35 of them. Hundreds of the Ukrainian citizens are quarantined; in Egypt – in hotels, in Brazil – there is a group consisting of 14 people and in other countries,” the minister added.
Earlier, Dmytro Kuleba stated that 1,791 people appealed to the consulates and embassies of Ukraine in Europe and asked to return them home.
As we reported, Ukraine will appeal to Poland with a request to open pedestrian checkpoint Shehyni-Medyka, where earlier Ukrainian citizens stuck with no possibility to enter Ukraine.
The restrictive measures will be enhanced in Kyiv from March 17 due to coronavirus. The work of food outlets, sports complex and entertainment establishments will be restricted.
As of March 15, five cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Ukraine. Two new cases were found in the Chernivtsi region.
