A complex service centre for the homeless will emerge in Kyiv by December 1, 2019. Maryna Honda, the Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration said that as quoted by the city hall's press office.
According to her, Kyiv Centre for Social Adaptation of the elderly people, the people with special needs and the homeless will be reorganized. The respective decision was made at the session of Kyiv city council in October 2018.
The reorganization committee has been created.
The complex will include the reintegration unit, the social hotel, social adaptation unit for those released from prison and the residential buidling for the people with special needs.
Honda added that the creation of the new complex centre of service for the homeless does not require the extra funding from the city budget.
