Servant of the People MP Yevhen Shevchenko was threatened with expulsion from the faction due to the support of journalists from the 112 Ukraine, ZiK, and NewsOne TV channels, which were closed by a decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky. The journalist and TV presenter Diana Panchenko told about it on air of Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent) TV channel.
During the live broadcast of the Pershiy Nezalezhniy TV channel, journalist Diana Panchenko said that deputies from the Servant of the People refused to come to the studio. At the same time, she noted that Yevhen Shevchenko, a deputy from Servant of the People, respects the former journalists of the 112 Ukraine, ZiK, NewsOne channels and could not accept the invitation to come on the air because of his health condition.
"Right now, Yevhen Shevchenko, Servant of the People MP, writes to me, he sent me his (positive, - ed.) test for coronavirus. I just want to say that Yevhen contacted me when we (NewsOne TV channel, - ed.) were banned. And indeed, he was almost the only person in Servant of the People who supported us, and Yevhen told me that after that he was threatened with expulsion from the faction," the journalist said.
Today journalists of the three channels ZIK, NEWSONE, and 112 Ukraine, illegally closed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, have united to create a new TV channel, Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent), which will inform viewers about what is happening in the country.
Soon, the viewers will be able to watch the channel on TV screens, and not only on YouTube. Webcast of the TV channel is available on the website pnk.tv.
