Three explosions reported in the city of Jalalabad in the east of Afghanistan. This is stated by the television channel Tolo News.
As the channel informs referring to the representative of the provincial governor Attaulli Hoghyani, three explosions took place at the city stadium. As a result, 8 people were killed and 45 others were injured.
The attack occurred during the cricket match. Hoghyani said that among the dead are the organizer of the competition and the deputy mayor of Mehtarlam city in Laghman province.
The Taliban denies involvement in the terrorist act.
This is the second terrorist attack in Jalalabad in a week. Earlier, on May 13, 9 people were killed and 36 were injured as a result of a series of explosions and the ensuing firefights between terrorists and security forces.
