According to the resource, Jeeps of the US international forces led by NATO, responsible for ensuring stability in Kosovo (KFOR), arrived at the blockade.
"A dozen American soldiers can be seen around the jeeps," the report said.
Serbs block the road to Lake Gazivode and the Hydroelectic station on it. So they protest against the training of the Kosovo special forces in the area of the Gazovodskaya HES.
According to the Serbs, the security forces from Kosovo received reinforcements from Albania.
Earlier Serbian President Alexander Vučić, who is also the country's supreme commander, ordered to put the entire Serbian army on high alert, RTS reports. The order was transferred to the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. As of early 2018, the status of Kosovo was recognized by 111 of the 193 UN member states. Serbia does not recognize the status of the republic. China and Russia, as permanent members of the Security Council, block Kosovo's accession to the UN.
