The Ministry of Education of Serbia signed the agreement with Artek Camp in annexed Crimea. According to the document, the students and the teachers from Serbia who study or teach the Russian language can visit Artek for volunteering. The website of Artek reported this.

The Document was signed on September 20 by the Director of Artek Alexey Kasprzhak and Deputy of Education Minister of Serbia Alexandar Pajic.

Earlier there was a scandal on the arrival of 2 000 foreign children to the captured Artek,

The Management of the camp agreed to move the camp to the territory of the continent Ukraine after the occupation of Crimea. The moved Artek accepted the children in the Carpathians and in Pushcha-Vodytsia near Kyiv. However, the property of the camp was illegally confiscated by the occupation authorities.

Earlier, the Prosecutor’s Office opened the criminal proceeding due to the fact of transfer of Artek to the federal ownership of Russia.
