People who are on self-isolation are allowed to go out no more than twice a week, as Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyashko stated.
“In relation to people who are sick and will undergo outpatient treatment, our request is not to go out at all, because it will be controlled tightly. We will do our best to ensure that people who are treated at home receive medications and food. And people who are in isolation can leave room for replenishment of essential supplies two times a week maximum," Lyashko said.
Earlier, the Ministry assumed that the peak incidence of Covid-19 in Ukraine may begin from April 14-15.
"If we do not take more stringent restrictive quarantine measures, then we can expect a peak in the incidence from April 14-15. This can lead to a massive flow of patients, seriously ill patients to medical institutions and lead to a large number of negative consequences, in particular fatal ones," Lyashko stated.
