A man opened fire and hijacked a shuttle bus in Kyiv, reports

One person wounded – the drive of the shuttle bus, according to preliminary data.

When the attacker threw the driver out of the bus, the passengers managed to get out of it. This happened on Malyshka street, a sleeping area on the left bank of Kyiv.

Pursuit started right after the accident. The shuttle bus crashed an automobile on the Perova Avenue, one of the busiest roads in the left bank of Kyiv, injuring a driver of the car.

In 2 km a bus crashed the police car, blocking the road. Patrol police officers opened fire and damaged the wheels and the wind glass of the bus.

The criminal had decamped near a railway stop of the electric trains, where he left the broken vehicle.

Police put the attacker into the wanted list due to the use of fire arms.

According to the description, the attacker is a 30 -35 y.o. man, of 170 – 175 cm high, wearing black camouflage.

“The attacker went on firing on patrol police officers while driving. The law enforcers used their guns according to the Law of Ukraine on National Police, and fired back to stop the vehicle by damaging it. The attacker crashed a car on his way and continued his way. Later he stopped in the country part of the city, left the shuttle bus and ran away. On the stop of the city train he shot a police officer into his leg – the la enforcer was trying to detain the attacker,” says the message by the police.

Now the attacker is hiding in the housing area.
