The Security Service of Ukraine detained the Israeli drug lord Amos Dov Silver. He escaped from the intelligence services yesterday, August 16, during an extradition attempt at Boryspil Airport. This was announced on Facebook by the SSU press service.

“As a result of urgent operational measures, the Security Service of Ukraine detained Israeli citizen Amos Dov Silver in one of the regions of our country. He will be extradited in the near future, in accordance with current legislation,” it reported.

In addition, the Security Service reported the detention of three of its employees who are suspected of helping Silver escape yesterday.

We recall that Silver escaped before the passport control at Boryspil Airport during the extradition.

The Israeli mass media were the first to report the escape of Amos Dov Silver. Earlier, the Supreme Court of Ukraine granted the motion of Israel on the extradition of Silver.

Drug lord was detained in Kyiv in spring 2019 on the demand of the Israeli police. In July, Kyiv Appeal Court decided to release him for the house arrest.

According to the open source, Telegrass is the Israeli network for the distribution of marijuana with 200,000 members. Israeli police officers noted that 10,000 tons of drugs, including marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy were sold through it.
