Ukraine’s Security Service (the SBU) and German law enforcers conducted a joint operation to eliminate the drug supply route from Southern America to Russia. One of the logistics centers was discovered in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine.

Three local residents used to receive cocaine in mail deliveries; they re-packed the drugs and sent them further to their partners in crime in Russia. The Mykolaiv-based henchmen were detained while receiving the 420 grams of cocaine from South America at a local post office.

The SBU investigation is underway.
