On Wednesday, Kyiv hosts the long-awaited music show; Depeche Mode are going to rock the crowd at National Sports Complex Olimpiysky.

The local law enforcers work in the enhanced security mode; 200 fighters of the National Police and the National Guard will be maintaining public security on the venue alone. Police patrols will monitor the situation in the adjacent areas, public transport stops and subway stations.

On July 17, the band’s frontman Dave Gahan faced health issues – exactly why the show in Minsk was cancelled. At first, Depeche Mode were about to cancel the concert in Kyiv, too, but as Dave’s condition improved on Tuesday, the band confirmed the show would actually take place.
