In Italy, a second Ukrainian citizen died of coronavirus infection in Italy. The woman was in the risk group. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kateryna Zelenko and the head of the department of consular service of Ukraine's MFA Serhiy Pohoreltsev have informed about it, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.
"Unfortunately, the information is being confirmed. Yesterday, a citizen of Ukraine, born in 1958, died of a coronavirus at the hospital of the city of Romano di Lombardy (Bergamo province)," Pohoreltsev said.
According to him, the connection with the hospital has already been established and the relatives of the dead have been informed.
As we reported earlier, as of now, there are 26 officially confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine.
Three cases already turned out lethal. On March 19, a woman who suffered from a number of diseases, including coronavirus, deceased in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
On the same day, two cases of Chinese coronavirus have been confirmed in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
