The second trailer of Forbidden, the Ukrainian biopic film appeared on the Web. The film's slogan is "All those against the terror, rise!".
The movie tells the tragic story of Ukrainian poet and dissident Vasyl Stus. The man stood against the Soviet regime's limitations of freedom of speech and thought; he spent many years of his life in labor camps. He tried to pass his final collection of poems outside the camp but never saw it happen. Stus died in the camp in September 1985.
It is a real story of the unbent artist, the story of love and betrayal, human dignity and obnoxiousness.
A significant part of the film shows Stus's time in prison, as a female KGB agent comes to the poet and tries to apply psychological pressure on him, talking and trying to persuade him to testify. But Stus remains unbowed.
The main cast includes Dmytro Yaroshenko, Oleg Maslennikov, Yevheniya Hladiy, Vitaliy Saliy.
