The seats of large-scale fire that took place at an ammunition stock in Ichnia, Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine, are now localized. Oleksiy Chernobay, the head of communications and press of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported this on Tuesday afternoon.
'As of 2 p.m., the fire seats have been localized; the intensity of blasts tends to reduce; smoke is visible over the stock's territory, and single blasts are heard', he said.
As is known, a fire and consequent explosions occurred at the ammunition stock in the town of Ichnia, Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine. Over 10,000 civilians were evacuated from the adjusted towns and villages. State Emergency Service crews arrived on the scene to cope with the consequences of the disaster.
