Scotland Yard: British people got poisoned by Novichok nerve agent

A man and a woman were found unconscious near Salisbury. They were poisoned by a nerve agent after they touched a contaminated item. Reuters reports with the reference to London Police.

Following further tests of samples from the patients, we now know that they were exposed to the nerve agent after handling a contaminated item,” London police said in a statement.

Reportedly, Wiltshire Police reported on new cases of poisoning similar to the poisoning of ex-officer of the GRU of Russia Sergey Skripal and his daughter Julia in Salisbury on March 4.

Scotland Yard claims that Novichok nerve agent poisoned the man and the woman who were found consciousness near Salisbury.
