The Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General will conduct an interview with journalist Dmytro Gordon with the former so-called "Minister of Defense of the DPR" Igor Strelkov (Girkin).

This was announced by Deputy Prosecutor General Gunduz Mammadov in a commentary to Ukrainska Pravda.

"The use by prosecution and pre-trial investigation authorities of information from interviews of suspected and accused persons is a fairly widespread international practice. Such interviews are valuable with additional facts and details. For example, the so-called "prosecutor" of Crimea confirmed that she was aware of suspicion and criminal prosecution against her in Ukraine," Mamedov noted.
