The personnel of the Security Service of Ukraine detained “head of rural council” of one of the settlements on the temporarily occupied territory of Novoazovsk district in Donetsk region. The press office of the Ukrainian Security Service reported that on Sunday.
‘The members of the special service established that the local resident has held the office of the rural head in one of the villages in Donetsk region from 2010. However, in 2014, the woman joined the ranks of 'DNR' terrorist organization. Having fulfilled the tasks of the militants, she carried out an illegal management of the temporarily occupied territory within the relevant settlement,’ reads the message.
It is reported that the law enforcement arrested her on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government, where she arrived for personal business. The detainee was served with charge papers and elected a preventive measure of remand in custody.
As we reported earlier, SBU officers detained the owner of the pharmaceutical manufacturer under suspicion of funding the separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, occupied by militants.
It was noted that the enterprise, which is located in Luhansk region, delivered medicines for Russian militants in particular. According to SBU information, the enterprise was allocating $8-9 thousand for the militants per month.
The SBU representatives added that the owner of the enterprise was detained under the article of Ukraine’s Criminal Procedure Code.
The perpetrator was served with charges papers on the commission of a crime provided by the article of the Criminal Code on violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine. The immediate investigation is being conducted to bring to responsibility the individuals involved in the activity of the enterprise and funding of the terrorist organizations.
