The workers of the Security Service of Ukraine blocked the smuggling and sales of cocaine in Kyiv. The press service of the SBU reports this.

According to the report, a man from Donetsk, who was temporarily living in Kyiv, organized an illegal transfer of drugs from abroad for sale. The culprit exploited the received "product" through an extensive network of dealers in Kyiv region.

The law enforcers detained the man at one street of Kyiv, while the criminal was selling 200 grams of cocaine, a regular drug shipment. The offices launched the proceedings under 208 article of the Criminal and Procedural Code of Ukraine.

The amount of seized drugs on the black market costs $ 30,000.

Currently, the offender is being suspected in committing a crime under the part two of the article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the preventive measure has been selected for him – he is taken into custody.

The pre-trial investigation has been underway.
