Ryanair launches a new direct flight from Kherson to Krakow. This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy during a briefing with Ryanair Commercial Director David O'Brien.
The airline will start operating twice a week starting December 21, 2019.
Earlier, Irish carrier Ryanair opened a new flight from Kyiv to Madrid in October 2019. Ryanair stated that it plans to open five new flights from Ukraine in 2019: to Athens (Greece), Dublin (Ireland), Manchester (Great Britain), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Pafos (Cyprus).
In June 2019, the low-cost company began operating two new flights to Poland: Odesa - Krakow, and Kharkiv - Krakow.
As we reported earlier, the management of the airports "Boryspil" and "Lviv" signed contracts with the Irish air company Ryanair. The first flights from Kyiv and Lviv were made in October last year. In the first year of its operating in Ukraine, Ryanair planned to carry about one million passengers in Ukrainian destinations.
Ryanair has begun exploring the possibility of arranging domestic flights in Ukraine.
