In the nearest future, the flights of the low-cost Ryanair will be started at Kherson international airport. Yury Gusev, the Adviser of Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine claimed this as Ukrinform reported.
“I as the adviser of the Infrastructure Minister can report you secret information – Ryanair will fly in Kherson,” Gusev claimed.
According to him, Ryanair and other low-cost companies consider Kherson as hub at the south of Ukraine. He noted that at the moment Kherson airport is the most attractive in Ukraine. Its passenger flow surpasses 100,000 people.
He also predicted that there will be 130-140,000 passengers of Kherson airport until the end of 2018.
As we reported today the administrations of Boryspil and Lviv airports signed the agreements on the start of operation of Irish low-cost Ryanair Company. It is expected that the flights from Kyiv and Lviv will take place in October 2018 and Ryanair will transport around one million passengers, including 40% of the Europeans during the first year of the work.
In particular, planes will take off from Kyiv to Barcelona, Bratislava, Gdańsk, Kraków, London Stansted, Poznań, Stockholm, Vilnius, Warsaw, Wrocław. And from Lviv to Düsseldörp, Kraków, London Stansted, Memmingen, and Warsaw.
