Ryanair air company plans to increase the passenger traffic at Ukrainian flights by 33% in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer David O’Brien of the company stated.

Ryanair plans to transfer over 2.1 million of passengers at Ukrainian flights in 2020.

According to O’Brien, 18 routes to be opened in Ukraine in 2020, including two new. The issue is about Lviv-Budapest and Kharkiv-Warsaw flights. The flights will take place twice a week. Totally, 43 routes will work in Ukraine in 2020.

Earlier we reported that Ryanair will launch a new direct flight from Kherson to Krakow in December 2019.

In October 2019, Irish carrier Ryanair opened a new flight from Kyiv to Madrid Ryanair. It was stated that it is planned to open five new flights from Ukraine in 2019: to Athens (Greece), Dublin (Ireland), Manchester (Great Britain), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Pafos (Cyprus).

As we reported earlier, the management of the airports "Boryspil" and "Lviv" signed contracts with the Irish air company Ryanair. The first flights from Kyiv and Lviv were made in October last year. In the first year of its operating in Ukraine, Ryanair planned to carry about one million passengers in Ukrainian destinations.
