David O’Brien, the commercial director of Ryanair believes that there could be more possible flight routes from Ukraine. He said this to NV Business.
“These are the first directions. But potentially there could be another 50,” he said in the interview.
According to the commercial director, Kyiv’s big advantage is that it has 2 airports that provide good acceptance rate. Apart from that, the absence of monopoly will positively influence the prices.
Answering about opening flights from other cities of Ukraine, O’Brien noted that at the moment the company concentrated on existing directions, as the company operates in 34 countries, and that’s 200 airports.
Earlier it was reported that low-cost Ryanair officially announced about start of work in Ukraine. Ryanair Airline plans to launch flights in late October 2017.
