The Belarusian border guards detained two citizens of Russia who tried to cross the border with a Ukrainian woman in the trunk as the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Belarus reported.

The Ukrainian woman was found in the truck during the search of the car at the checkpoint Veselovka.

'It turned out that this woman is a mother of one of the Russian citizens. The passport of the 60-years old woman expired in March 2015. She tried to pass the control at the border with the help of her daughter and cohabiter in such way', the message said.

The woman explained that her Ukrainian passport expired and the Russian border guards warned her on the necessity to renew the document. However, she ignored the warning.

All of them were not allowed to cross the border. They can bear administrative responsibility for the illegal crossing of the border.
