The workers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detected six foreigners with another person’s or forged passports at two Kyiv and one Odesa airports on January 1, 2019, as the service reported.
Thus, a citizen of Russia tried to enter Ukraine from the Turkish side. A man arrived to Odesa airport.
“The border guards of Odesa unit detected the replacement of the page with the constituent data in his passport. The document of the Russian, who bought it for $2,000, was confiscated. The perpetrator will be returned to the country, from which he arrived,” the message said.
Another three perpetrators were stopped at the checkpoint “Zhuliany”.
“They came from Turkey and provided the documents, passports and ID-cards of the Bulgarian citizens, which belong to other people as the border guards established. These people were not allowed to cross the border. Moreover, it turned out that a mother and her two children had the real documents of the citizens of Turkey. They were sent to Istanbul by return flight,” the message said.
Two foreigners with the forged passports of Paraguayan were detained at “Boryspil” airport. The border guards established that the pages with the constituent data were replaced in their passports. The foreigners turned out to be the citizens of Iran. The forged documents were confiscated.
Moreover, all foreigners are banned from the entry to Ukraine for three years.
Earlier the border guards in Lviv region prevented an illicit crossing of Ukrainian-Polish border by four foreigners. All four detained for three days in order to clarify the circumstances of the violation. It is also noted that they have arrived in Ukraine legally.
